Jamshedpur Management Association
Established in 1983, the Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA) has built up a storied history of effectively fulfilling its mandate of spreading management education in a sustainable manner to a range of enterprises from across the region, and has in the process made management education and the modern rules of management accessible to all who need it.
Helmed and managed by great practitioners of excellence, it has always aspired to adhere to its tagline of “stimulating minds” by organising a plethora of events ranging from management development programmes, talks, courses to competitions and games that endeavour to encourage their participants learn, apply, and develop the ever-evolving best practices of management. Through its various events and activities, the JMA has facilitated the exchange of ideas and best practices among its members, leading to the overall growth and development of its management community in the region. The JMA’s initiatives have been instrumental in helping students and managers stay in touch and implement the latest developments in the field of management for the organisations they presently serve and would serve in the future. JMA has grown into a community with members from all walks of life, from consulting to academia- all of whom work passionately towards promoting growth via the principles of efficient management.
Managers from leading corporations like Tata Steel, Tata Motors, JCAPCPL, TATA Pigments, TATA Bluescope, Indian Steel & Wire Products Limited, TRF Limited, TATA Cummins, Timken India, TSUISL, TATA Power, CTC India and ICICI Bank, and students from institutions from across the region like XLRI , NIT Jamshedpur and IIM Ranchi, are a part of its wide-reaching knowledge building community. The JMA’s diverse membership and unwavering commitment towards promoting efficient management practices has helped to improve the quality of decision-making and problem-solving, and has enabled it to have a beneficial impact for organisations around Jamshedpur and beyond.

and never ending. The great work done by the JMA has allowed it to make history by being recognised as the ‘Best Management Association’ by the All-
India Management Association for the three times consecutive time. In light of this great history that has enabled the JMA to stand out among management
associations in the country.
