We are thrilled to announce the JMA Flagship Event 7th Management Olympiad 25-26, scheduled to take place on the 12th March, 2026 at the Centre for Excellence, Jamshedpur.
Topics name and their instructions are mentioned below.
1. Poster Design: (Team Participation Maximum 3 participants)
· Profit and Sustainability in a Disruptive Era
· AI & Transformation in Business
Requirements: Sheets will be provided at the venue. Participants should bring their creative supplies and colours. 70% of the poster should be text or sketches, 20% can be mixed media elements (objects, fabric).
2. Trading Titans League: (Individual Participation)
· Virtual Stock Market Simulation for three days
Evaluation Criteria: Virtual stock market simulations will be evaluated on portfolio performance (ROI), risk management (volatility), and trading strategy focusing on risk-adjusted returns.
3. Extempore Unplugged: (Individual Participation)
· Unfiltered Thoughts, Instant Topic, One Minute to Own the Stage
Evaluation Criteria: how well the speaker understands the topic, their confidence, body language, voice modulation, and ability to present a clear, logical, and engaging argument within the time limit (No seeing and reading will be allowed).
Note: Participants can participate in multiple tracks.
Prizes:
· Gold, Silver & Bronze for each competition
· Mr. & Ms. Olympiad (Boy or Girl who will win multiple competitions)
· Overall Champion Award (Institute or Corporate)

We are pleased to announce a ‘Business Acumen and Knowledge by Expert’ B.A.K.E Talk on “Biomimicry in Engineering Design and Management: Termite Mounds to Smart Factories”. The session will lead by Dr. Hishmi Jamil Husain, Former Head of Biodiversity & Corporate Sustainability, TATA Steel. He is also Commission Member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, Elected Fellow of the Linnean Society of London, Member of the International Advisory Council of the Grassroots Institute and Member of ESG Committee of the Dela Leaders Club.
About the Topic:
Biomimicry is the practice of learning from nature to develop efficient and sustainable engineering and management solutions. A classic example is termite mounds, which maintain stable internal temperatures through natural ventilation despite extreme external conditions. Engineers have applied these principles in the design of smart factories and green buildings to reduce energy consumption and improve climate control.
In engineering design, biomimicry supports resource efficiency, adaptive systems, and resilience. In management, it inspires decentralized decision-making, self-regulating processes, and continuous optimization—similar to how natural systems function.
In essence, biomimicry bridges nature and technology, enabling smarter factories, sustainable operations, and innovative management practices aligned with environmental responsibility and long-term efficiency.

JMA is delighted to announce its flagship event, the 7th Energy Efficiency Challenge. This year’s theme is "Sustaining Growth through Incremental Energy Efficiency", focusing on identifying small, actionable steps that can lead to substantial improvements in energy efficiency.
Event Details:
Date: 6th February, 2026
Format: Online event
Team Size: Maximum of two or three members per team
Participation Fee: INR 3200/- excluding taxes per team
Presentation Guidelines:
- Teams are encouraged to showcase their solutions aimed at maximizing energy efficiency in their respective fields.
- Solutions can be suggested at Department Level/ State Level/ National Level.
- Solutions must be backed by secondary research, past data, proven technologies and methodologies etc.
- Data on energy consumption for the previous three years must be included.
- Overall impact of the solution should be clearly showcased.
- Recommendation for policy and regulatory changes required for successful implementation of the suggested solution.
- Key pain areas, vision and way forward for maximizing energy efficiency must be clearly outlined.
- The work presented must be certified by the Head of the Department.
- Judgement will be done on the basis of Innovation, data driven analysis, cross-functional thinking & overall impact.

The session will be led by Mr. Pradeep Sangwan, Founder of Healing Himalayas, an avid trekker and environmentalist. Drawing from his pioneering work in ecologically fragile Himalayan regions, he will explore the complex interplay of human activity, ecological degradation, and waste management systems. The talk will highlight sustainable models of circular waste management, share learnings from community-led clean-up initiatives, and demonstrate how these approaches can be adapted to the challenges of rapidly urbanizing Indian cities.
